BBF Crémant du Jura Extra Brut Blanc de Blanc Chardonnay

One of the best deals in the French sparkling wine world.

Absolutely great Crémant! It was a bit shy just after the cork was pulled, but give it some time. Has been 'sur lattes' for 52 months, serious stuff. Will not misstand in a line-up of quality BdB Champagnes. The label states 'Extra Brut' but in fact there is no dosage. Great!

A stunner from the Jura! Manzanilla, apple & gruyere notes. Delicious.

This is the Belgian sour ale of Cremant de Jura. Tasty and savory.

Non dosé showed up as non-balanced...for my taste anyway. Still lovely, but the finish was more jarring than interesting.

Sherry and champagne had a love child

Chardonnay BBF. Mineral, white flower, light butty notes. Light candied notes. Lemon, Apple (and skin) clean, fresh and elegant. Good faint touch of almond, savoury finish. Very good with the finish. 90

Amazingly good Cremant, chardonnay, 1 year en fût, at least 52 months vieilli en bouteille, very refined indeed! Love it.
