Lively traditional styled Chianti displaying tart cherry and sun dried tomato Sangiovese notes. But, where this wine dominates is it's persistent tingling herbal component of fresh basil. A distinct strawberry backbone keeps the fruit prominent without being overbearing or "new world" in any way. Grippy black tea tannins and nervy acidity roll in through the finish. Smart integration of sweet tobacco and chewy leather. Balanced fruit, acidity, and tannic structure make this a great QPR. Cheers!

Meh. Drinkable, but for the price there are better choices. A bit bitter

The cedar notes are - in my opinion - awful. The smell it gives the wine is almost RANK.
It’s present in the taste as well. I think it’s just the cedar - note to self, avoid.

Medium bodied, medium acidity, tannins of tart red fruits as well as herbs. Smooth finish and good on its own or paired with meat.
