Lovely peach fruit with light lemon and chalk. Lovely texture and balance. Pretty and long.

What a treat to get to try this - some funk on the nose, but on the palate tart citrus and saline dominate. Get ready to pucker up - the acidity in this is intense. Knowledgeable Somm who shared that this was aged in Burgundian oak barrels (vs Loire) and that this was the last vintage made by Didier before he passed and his son took over. I understand why he had such a cult following.

Amazing sauv blanc. Bracing acidity, huge minerality, dried hay, lees contact, lemon caramel custard, full mouthfeel for sauv blanc, and baked apple on the finish. Very complex. Yum!

Notes of white floral, pear and citrus zest. Great compliment to the Chablis and oysters!

Born in the Nievre, where Burgundy meets the Loire Valley, Didier was the fourth generation in a family of winegrowers. Pale straw with white stone fruit aromas and floral notes. On the palate ripe peach and pear flavors fuse with chalky wet stone and citrus zest, energetic acidity. Long finish ending with mineral tones and underlying creaminess. Tasting Sample.
