2013 - was a difficult vintage in Burgundy - however the purity of fruit in this wine was amazing the red fruit , mushroom, earth , soy, and allspice with ample acidity ( med+) with subtle oak

Incredible. Impressive complexity and organic earth tones. This lieu dit within Santenots lives up to its reputation.

Crushed berry and tea. Pure fruit and clean.

Crushed raspberry, rose petals, black tea. Good match to my palate.

Opened up beautifully over dinner, chocolate dipped black cherry, crunchy Asian spice box, great acid! Lafon reds are under rated.

Very smokey cherry/stem on the nose, smooth, but tannins still grip, raspberry/strawberry/black cherry on the palate. Needs more time than we'll give this bottle tonight.
