Still some life in this beautiful '04! Stewed plum and meaty aromas. Drinking like a mature Syrah should.

This was a totally rich and ripe Napa Syrah. Oozed of fresh squeezed blackberries, cherry cordial, sandalwood and red-black licorice. Fairly sweet on the palate with Mexican vanilla from the oak. Very soft.

Probably one of my favorites vintages of the Black Bart Syrah to date. Oozing with blackberry and roasted meat aromas. Lighter on the palate than previous years.

Big, rich and bold. Tannins have mellowed a bit with time. Stewed plum and smoky meat aromas.

9.3 +for a Syrah! Very pepper and delicious! Low tannin and smooth with just a little bite on the edges. Very, very crowd pleasing

Blackberry, cassis, licorice, black cherry, mossy earth, currant, white pepper, licorice, vanilla and oak. Excellent structure and well-integrated tannins.

Much less than expected, which is good. Figured it was going to a massive fruit bomb, but instead, it was actually nuanced with spices, smoke, bacon, & decent acidity.

Best Syrah I've bad in a while, dry, coffee, earthy, spicy and delicious.

Drinking a little hot at the moment burning off a little as it opens up. Jammy red fruits and cedar up front with smoky meats coming through as well. Pleasant as always. Will benefit with more aging.
