Delicious with pasta. %20 Merlot adds some nice darker plummy fruit that compliments the herbal and red fruit of the Sangiovese

Already approachable

Impressive effort: all the hallmarks of great CC w/benefit of some bottle age. Quite grippy - had to double check bottle to see if this was a super Tuscan or IGT. Alas, really solid rendition w/grace & power and long life ahead.

Out with some colleagues in NJ and this goes well with the Italian dinner. Decent wine, typical flavor profile, no regrets

Very nice Chianti Classico. Aromatically quite giving and beautiful. Lots of dark cherry and some earth. Still slightly “rustic” on the palate. But excellent fruit and earth and some great acid at the finish as well. Very nice and excellent with a ribeye at dear old smith and Wollensky.

2014 excellent, well balanced with red fruit and soft tannins

I’ve had other, much better, wines from this producer.

Complex with plum tones and some earthy notes. Very smooth. 2014 drinking great.
