When it comes to Bordeaux I am biased. So many Bordeaux and so few disappointments. And this wine is another winner, a wonderful, mature red blend that only Bordeaux can create. Highly recommended.

If I would have a dollar for every Bordeaux out there I would have a nice pocket change. Anyway, whenever I see a new Bordeaux I try it. And this wine is quite good. It’s inexpensive but wonderfully tasty. Highly recommended.

Light, slightly sweet and citrus, slightly dry/acidic... perfect balance.

Rough... maybe when aged this will better although I doubt it. Very and I mean very bitter. Steer clear.

Deep violet red. An interesting nose that takes some swirling: vegetal, with chocolate cherry and plum, and some savory leather and herbs too. Bright acid and solid grippy tannins--it lands really well on the tongue. The taste/aftertaste is sour cherry, and here I think it shows its low price tag: none of the layers of the nose are present, and nothing lingers. Can I complain? Absolutely not. It's an $8 right bank Bordeaux, and it doesn't suck. Totally enjoyable and ready for weeknight dinner duty.
