A good honest Barossa Shiraz at a good price. See previous notes from May 2020. Dense dark Ruby in colour. Pruney plummy notes - some oak. On the palate quite sweet with blackberry, chocolate with medium softening tannins. Full flavoured and ripe in this excellent Barossa vintage. Coming to the end of its drinking window. Easy to drink.

Dense crimson in colour. Oaky notes of butterscotch also blackberry and dark chocolate. Very ripe Shiraz fruit - full bodied with 15% ABV. Ripe blackberry and liquorice flavours. A budget Barossa which over delivers for the price of around $26. As the weather gets colder in Australia ( a cold snap this long weekend) these wines hit the spot.

i am sceptical of new world wine. but despite its relative youth (2017 vintage) and after some breathing this was a refreshing round wine which I would drink again!

Classic Barossa. Ripe dark fruit and pepper with some great leather/ tobacco characters developing. Long finish and silky smooth tannin
