La Monetta Gavi Cortese

Lemon, pear and overripe pineapple, curds and lime peel on the nose. Lemon oil, squeezed lime, quinine and lemon lifesaver, without the sugar finish, instead, a return to lemon oil, the lightest tangerine before sunset.

Very quaffable. Apple and floral in the palate. Good mouthfeel. A versatile weeknight bottle.

Waitrose. Nice enough, but very samey when bought as a case

Light, crisp apples and pears, but of citrus and lemon through it and on the finish. Very drinkable.

Light and crispy with sweet touch best with prawn dishes.

Lovely clear appearance, very dry but has a lovely sweet finish. Goes well with Prawns and pizza.

Sweet and sultry

Refreshing- citrus, apricot and hints of nutty flavours. Paired with avocado, pomegranate and toasted almond green salad.

A fruity, light companion with a rich character. Nice for a casual tipple.
