The 2007 tasted pretty good considering the cost was only about $8 via WSJ wine club offer.

Roqueta family cellar actually dates all the way back to 1199. Las Barracas is named for the ancient stone huts dotting the family’s vineyards. A blend of 60% Tempranillo & 40% Cab Sauv. Deep Ruby with aromas of black fruits and sweet spices. On the palate ripe blackberry and currant flavors with vanilla spice. Medium finish with very grippy bitting tannins, ending with fruit and earthy spice character. Ok for price.
