Muted nose of oak, vanilla, licorice and cherries.
Dry and tart on the palate with sour cherries, blackberries, strawberries, cranberries, oak(oak chips?), currants, vanilla, licorice, cloves, spices and black pepper.
Full bodied with a short finish with soft tannins, tart and spicy.
Unbalanced and flat,yet drinkable, but not by itself. Was better with chicken dish with a creamy sauce. Feels like a mass produced bulk wine.
