Another outstanding Pinot from wine maker Jeff Gaffner (Black Kite).A fairly earthy nose with a bit of dark fruit. On the palette it's all plum, ripe plum, fragrant, exuberant with earthy tannins and a bit of aromatic wood, and fennel seed. It's super good and drinking very well. It is big and broad for a Pinot yet has the lightness and vitality of the grape. I hope to have it again.

Sturdy seafood wine with a touch at 62F optimally. 2007 drink now! We had it with a turkey meatloaf and acorn squash. Perfect. 90 points

2016 vintage. Medium-heavy body. So much bluefruit. Some Syrah overtones. Gorgeous.

These get better after a few years and a day after opening. The upfront fruit intensity wears off and you get more earthiness.
