Pale lemon in color.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Showing lemons, gooseberries, limes, light grapefruits, spices and light earth.

Long finish with lemons and minerals.

This is a delicious Sauvignon Blanc From Napa Valley. Well balanced and fruit forward. Crisp and refreshing.

This 4 year old is good right out of the bottle. Not bitter not tart, just the way I like it. A great sipping wine.

Wine Enthusiasts 94 points. Robert Parker 91 points.

Drinking beautifully now. Would be nice to revisit it in a few years, and see how it evolved.

This beautiful wine was made by Heidi Barrett (Screaming Eagle).

A blend of 96% Sauvignon Blanc and 4% Sémillon. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel vats and used French oak barrels.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$100 (current vintage).

Nice! Tropical notes, smooth. Just a kiss of oak for texture.

I could live in this glass, tropicals, lemongrass, green apples, so delicious, medium plus acidity!

18’ Kenzo Asatsuyu SB. Honeysuckle, peach, abundance of citrusy notes, key lime pie. Shinning through with a splash of zesty ginger & rock. Prior vintages had just a touch of oak.
Not quite as good as the last 3 vintages. At $80 🤷🏻‍♂️

A fascinating and little-known brand owned by Kenzo Tsujimoto, who purchased 3,800 acres along the slopes of Mt. George in the late 1980s. Kenzo Estate wines are the result of a collaboration between winemaker Heidi Barrett of Screaming Eagle and legendary viticulturalist David Abreu, the wines are almost exclusively exported to Japan, and they sport an impressive price tag. This half bottle of 2013 Asatsuyu Sauvignon Blanc sells for a mere $95.00, if you can find it. Nuanced aromas of guava, underripe pineapple and peach pit give way to an attack that is surprisingly round and full. For me, the most intriguing aspect of this wine is how much it narrows it's focus at the finish, one that is interlaced with classic Sauvignon Blanc herbaceousness and chalky minerality.

14' Kenzo Asatsuyu Sauvignon Blanc. Heidi Barrett's only Sauvignon Blanc. Light golden yellow in color. A 10 second swirled of the glass, you can smell...citrus,floral, minerals...6 inches from the glass. On the front & middle palate, I get kiwi, honeydew. Middle & back of the palate have an abundance of floral notes, with light and crisp acidity.# Can't miss
