Lots of fruit and floral flavors are held up by well-developed tannins (decant this puppy; even after 8 years it was a little tight). Food friendly acidity with a mountain stone tang underneath. Yum. Balanced an assertive Dijon cognac beef stew, but played well with the entire meal.

spicy, hints of cherry. Definitely needed more time to open up, sad I opened it so early. Tons of potential.

Really nice Malbec blend. Went great with the spicy pho, definitely could taste the Syrah in there.
