Still holding up nicely. Love this claret-like style of Zinfandel. Elegant.

2003 drinks like a rustic Pinot noir / gamay- earthy and light and fruit driven - a surprise! If this is what 2003 zin was like (at 13 % sign me up)

Y'all can have your flashy new wineries, I'll keep drinking my old school wines. Frog's Leap still has the mojo!

2013 vintage. Dry-farmed Zinfandel co-fermented with Carignan, Petite Sirah and Valdigue. A more restrained style of Zin. Nose is not very attractive (animal-like), but the taste is much better with juicy cherries, bright acidity and lots of elegance for a Zin. Should age well. Would give a higher score if the nose was more appealing.

Love this wine. Its a shame that old zinfandel is still such a secret.
