Merry Christmas Everyone! Tonight I have opened a Tempranillo from Spain. Upon first opening there was alcohol a plenty. I let it set for 30 minutes and that alcohol blew off pretty well. The aromas I am getting are those of stewed prunes, herbal notes, tobacco, and vanilla. On the palate I get plum, black cherry, and tobacco. This is definitely a full bodied wine with a smooth mouth feel, medium + tannin, and medium acidity. A very nice Tempranillo and I only paid $24.99. Please have a Merry Christmas and a safe and Happy New Year!

So surprisingly on the palate, it's more BlackBerry, currants, and tobacco than blueberry.
Admittedly this is very young and only had time to open 30 min before drinking. This is good now and will be even better (a few pts higher) in a few years.
