A bit flat for me. This misses the acidity that I might like from Carneros. It is not a very sweet/ripe style but neither incisive with acid.

Tried twice! Pale lemon with aromas of ripe fruits, citrus & toasty vanilla and baking spice scents. On the palate complex flavors of crisp apple, peach & lemon, well balanced with acidity on nice mouthfeel. Long finish ending with toasty mineral and spice, will continue to age well. A Great Chard. Good value!

2017 Frank Family Vineyards ‘Carneros’ Pinot Noir ($50.00)- Winemaker Todd Graff has crafted another beautiful wine with this new release Pinot Noir. The wine starts off with good range from orange rind to black tea to black cherry and cola accents on the nose. There is a beautiful texture to this wine that unveils rose water, red cherry candy, pomegranate seed and blood orange flavors. Delicious now, this has a slightly hedonistic bent that makes it nearly impossible to put down right now. This will continue to evolve for the next decade or more. Drink 2019-2029- 93

One if my favorite Pinots I have had in a long time. Well balanced. Great medium to light body, a good lingering finish. Currant and cranberry with plum notes!
