Drank 2/9/19. Paired with Burgers.

Found a couple of 09's on sale , so I snatched them up.

Scents of overripe plums, blackberry, raspberry, and some barnyard and petrol notes that remain present after a couple of hours. Palate shows the concentration of the vintage, with rich black fruits, plum, and medium, well integrated tannins.

4/22/7/3/4 +50 = 90 pts.

Not as harsh as the label, this is a very nicely rounded every day wine. Bravo

Aromas of berry fruits and caramel oak. Berry fruits coming through on the medium intensity palate finishing with fine powdery tannins of moderate length. Richer flavours with aeration. In summation a pleasant enough wine. Who would have thought a Bordeaux Garage project........ trying to look like a new world Cabernet. Heaven knows why? From the excellent 2005 vintage.

A friendly and good 100% Merlot wine round and soft tannins - maybe to Bordeaux Parker-ish for me

Very good value for money. Intense red fruit, great moment for consumption. Bien fait par le Mauvais Garcon

An easy everyday Bordeaux as it’s affordable. Very fruit forward with spice but finish is lacking.

Leather and tobacco fill the mouth until it reaches the intense red fruits. A young and rebellious wine like the Paris barricades of the 68's. I recommend drinking it on cold full moon nights.

Black fruits, mocha, and hint of tobacco on the nose & palate. Medium-to-full-bodied coupled with very soft & firm tannins, nice & solid steucture, and silky finish. Delicious & good value. Need only 30 minutes to breath; paired well with cheese and beef steak & love it very much.
