Dry Riesling

This is a perfect wine to understand the difference between a sweet and dry (but fruity) wine; note to self. Begging for spicy Thai food or an 80 degree summer day.

Taking a look at TA for the '15 Champanel - opened this bottle of dry German Riesling to help with Potassium Carbonate calculations ;-)

Clear straw yellow, vibrant fruit and oily nut aromas. Palate shows white flesh fruit flavors, apples & green grapes with a citrus tang. The wine shows zesty acidity, minerality, some floral spice, crisp and dry on the finish. Nice value. Tasting Sample.

Lemon peel, ruby red grapefruit, floral, petrol, peach and petrichor. High acid and good typicity.

Very delicate and balanced

Beautiful golden/yellow color. Nose shows some citrus and floral notes. Lots of effervescence on the tongue with great tastes of lemon, grapefruit wrapped in a lite sprinkling of honey. Not a lot of petrol notes but overall acidity is really good. An excellent wine to pair with grilled chicken and roasted vegetables. Extending my education of Riesling.

Delightful dry Riesling

Not our favorite riesling, but still a good example of the style and region.

Meyer lemon, apricot, apples, honey. Sweet.
