Green astringent tannins, overtly acidic; fruit juice (strawberry), felt watered down...don’t believe further aging would assist this wine.

I think this is v. nice. Balance of acidity and tannins along with both black and red fruit. A good food wine showing good balance from barossa.

Crushed black pepper, violets and gamey notes on nose; red fruit, peppery and spiced flavours on palate, fresh, young firm tannins, juicy finish

Lots of fruity sweetness (a blackberry, plum maybe) with licorice and mild chilli pepper. It's a pity I've bought only one bottle.

Surprising how much the Grenache punches through given the lower percentage vs the Syrah. Packs a fruity punch with an herbal backbone, but fairly one dimensional, although a good bbq wine.
