We're always hesitant with a merlot. This was good. Aroma was great with vanilla and oaky with black fruit. It was full bodied but not big. Smooth and silk. Paired well with lamb burgers very well. Would recommend. Unsure on price. Would serve to most guests.

I would rate it higher than 88, it is a great cab sauv , a wine which can be harsh, this is very round
