Hitachino produce one of my fave beers. This particular one is quite exotic, since it’s made with red rice. It’s like an IPA, but cleaner. Displays hints of fruits, but besides barley and the red rice (hence the red presentation in the glass), no flavors are added. Wifey doesn’t drink beer, so I get to slurp these by myself 🐶

I have no red rice in comparison, but has so much damn flavor so balanced and it’s kind a like a sake bomb in one

Wow! This is a pleasant surprise. The finish is a burst of umami. Like, MSG levels of deliciousness!
