Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Blend of 90% Sangiovese, 5% Colorino and 5% Merlot. Ruby with dark berry fruit aromas, tobacco and herb notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry and cherry with spice notes. Tannins are fine and firm, medium finish ending with savory character. Drink now, actually better than Reserva.

Forgot to log this one. Surprisingly good, at an affordable price ($15 ish). Well balanced, with enough grip to handle some meat, and enough fruit/acidity to pair with tomato sauce. Very well done. No formal notes taken.
90 pt range.

Purple flowers, black pepper, licorice and drunken raspberries on the nose. Light and food friendly, pepper spice mouth, roses and simple young tart cherry. A sausage and red saucy pasta wine.

Clear, consistent ruby red in color. Aromas of cherry and raspberry on the nose followed by bright fruit on the palate backed with moderately crisp acidity and tannins. Some cedar and a hint of smokiness. Moderately persistent finish. Medium bodied. Great value Chianti Classico.

I drank this wine on their vineyard in Tuscany. Had a great meal there too.

Smooth with a quick spicy bite. 13% alcohol which is strong for a Classico. An everyday drinking wine.
