Rich big Chard but in balance. Lots of oak and apple/pear aroma. A great foil For a smoked salmon and salmon roe in butter pasta. Oops. It was 2014.

This '08 from mag was very nice.

Words fail but here is a wine of presence -right here with you all the way. It is almost a conversation if you could call spurring on a story teller a dialogue. These are stories so gripping one doesn't break the pace to jot them down but we instead hang on every word in the hope we someday live out these heroic deeds. Young but every bit as moving -like a great personage reincarnated in the strong form coming of age yet still in the first flush of youth. As I say: words cannot contain such generosity.

This wine lacked on the nose but showed off on the palate with a corny and butter richness that was also quite lemony. #josephdrouhin #chassagnemontrachet #morgeot #burgundy

Loved it.

Really lovely and relatively generous (in a refined way) for such a very young wine. (Sticker on back of bottle said this was a barrel sample.)
