Coraggioso Amoroso Niagara Peninsula VQA Cabernet Sauvignon

Just amazing! Spices and plums.

Long finish. Leather nose. Plum. Dark and mysterious. Niagara? Yes. I can't believe it.

Probably the most exciting Canadian wine I've had. Leather and smoked honeycomb on the nose. Strong and abundant finish. Big and full. This winery has just become my favourite in Niagara. Perhaps the Appassimento is the key in this region. A groundbreaking new winery here. Beautiful property and building as well. The shape and geography reminds me of the Opus One property in Napa, with a blend of Tuscany. I'm in love.

A bit of orangish brown in purple. Cassis and cranberry acidity. Went to a beautiful winery on the trip to Toronto. A relatively new winery near the US border.

Wow, an amarone-style wine from Niagara VQA?? I was skeptical, but the som convinced me. It’s delicious. Bright, rich dried cherries, but not overbearing.

Rich with a nose I cannot place-- mushrooms with tarragon on fig? So balanced and delicious.

Tasted this at the vineyard: plum and blackberry and dark earth. So good it brought tears to my eyes.

This does not taste like typical Niagara wine. Wow!
