Big bad wolf blew the house down. Handfuls of plummy and dark fruit: black cherries, black plums, black raspberries, and dark raisins. The fruit is backed up by worn leather, anise, dark violets, and burnt vanilla. Plenty of bright spice and acidity throughout and pushes muscular tannins. Definitely more of a fleshy styled wine. Full bodied all the way. The oak is done right and doesn't battle with the fruit. Delicious finish and a fine example of California Cab! Cheers!

Dark ruby red in color.
Light fruits on the nose with blackberry, blueberry, plums, black pepper, vanilla, and forest floor.
Full-bodied and smooth 14.9% alcohol with beautiful legs.
On the palate, dark fruits, peppercorn, plums, red currants, cherries and sage.
Dry finish with black pepper and powerful tannins.
Aged in French oak barrels.
This vineyard integrates sheep in the vineyard to maintain weed control and natural fertilizer.
This is a very nice single vineyard 100% CS from Lake Valley.

Lake County to be an incredible bargain compare to the pricey neighbor to the south. Great example here of a solid, well made Cab.

Mar 16th, 20162010 vintage- Pepper, anise, plum nose. Rather dry, high-tannin but not grippy per se. Really enjoyable overall, and could age a while longer. Thanks, @Tommy Struhm

I thought it was a bit funky. Had an almost olive like taste. Even after decanting.
