Nice for the price. Around $10-$12. Vanilla, dill pickle barrel, dark fruits, spice, orange rind and nice acid.

Sipping Fine Wine

Fruit sourced from Rioja Alavesa & Rioja Alta, dark Ruby, mostly all Tempranillo with a splash of Mazuelo, aromas of black fruits and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and blackberry with espresso and silky vanilla caramel. Structured fine tannins, medium length ending with fruit character, nice value. Tasting Sample.

Rose transversing to Maraschino cherry nose as it opens. Rich fruit front with oily tar mid and leather tannins.
Great with Veal Scallopini and mushroom sauce with side on Gnocchi and a rosee cream sauce.

Benchmark Rioja at this price range. It's good, but nothing out of this world. Definitely carries the standard earthy notes and has a nice balance to it. If you like this, you'll love anything Rioja, pretty much.

The Spaniards know what's up. Zesty, pepper, great acid and alcohol balance.
