Bought a couple of Carmenere bottles to compare. Hands down a winner. Nice and spicy. Good body. We will buy again. It's a bargain at Total Wine.

The descriptions I trusted when I bought this wine said it was "intense, full-bodied, chocolate & blackberry." I've no idea where most of those perceptions came from. I agree that it is an intense wine, but it has no legs and the closest match I get for its strong flavor is tobacco.
