From the magnum. The 2003 vintage Domaine Chevalier Ladoix 1er Cru rouge. Wow! Beautiful nose with some tobacco, forrest, leather. The taste so full but gentle. Black fruit, subtle tannins. Wow wished I had more.....

52$ SAQ 2009 Excellent and for me typical of good Bourgogne pinot noir at that price. Turbid, rich fruit, moderately complex (in accordance to the price). Could certainly age a few years.
