Sweet syrupy honey-dank ipa. I've appreciated previous vintages of this beer, but it feels as though this release was meant to age. Balance seems to be off, like it wants to age in more caramel, nut-

RESPECT THE MAHARAJA! ..... ( boy am I glad I am drinking this one early.....). Excellent toasted toffee and roasted caramel with bourbon barrel influence. Nice "mature" hop finish.

Definitely different for an IPA; agree with that the reviews that it seems to want to age more. I am getting this sweet and Caramel-y taste others have talked about but I'm also getting kind of a nutty flavor. Though I might have another at some point because I do like the taste right now I'll move on.

Hard to find a better DIPA. Balanced malt with over 100 IBUs that are pretty well "hidden". Happy that it is now available in 12oz cans due to 10+Abv.

First time with this beer. Very impressive integration of malt and hops. Unctuous tropical notes that are perfectly backed up by syrupy malt.

A perfect Double/Imperial IPA, this Batch#20 December 2014, This define's the style, is it better than Pliny The Elder? I would say so, I would go as far to say I like than Pliny The Younger, the closest beer I can compare it to, Big Big Hops, excellent sweet malt to balance out this big hop Bomb, this just so delicious and smooth for such a monster of a brew, 102 IBU, 10.2% ACL One Great beer that any beer geek needs to try, A true Classic like Stone's Ruination that changed IPA's forever, This one sets the bar so high, cannot wait to see another beer surpass this
