Black currant, licorice and dusty from the volcanic like soil. The aromas jump out of the glass but the fruit in the background, not typical california style. The only part I don't like is the finish tastes like an oversteeped tea bags .Grace Benoist Ranch is such a special place. The 08 was the last vintage of this made and it is at its prime drinking time now
