Not as good as the 98 but still pretty enjoyable showing lots of the qualities of an older mature wine with ripe tanins and mature fruit - good bit of richness for a Pinot

Intense color. Strawberry jam on the nose. Mouth filling umami tannins. To be honest I was afraid this was kept too long in storage. But it is as impressive as Dry River at its best.
