Always earthy, leather, spice; black and red fruits are secondary to the gentlemen's lounge and earthy notes in this one.

Aromas of black fruit, tomato leaf, rosemary, black raspberry, anise.
Dry. Flavors of stewed black cherry, rosemary, licorice, clove, cinnamon black pepper, cocoa. Rich, velvety tannins.

Very rich, expressive, sirupy a bit,
Kirsch, dark fruit, raisiny aromas, with a bit of heat in the nose. A touch of leather & mushroomy undergrowth in the background.
Surprisingly bright on the palate with a firm tannic frame filled with fresh juicy acidity and highly ripe black fruit. The alc sticks out too much (maybe I had this too warm) and pushes the wine off balance.
Need to retry in more proper, cool conditions. So far - not my cup of tea.
