Exuberant nose. Spice, lychee, sugar snap peas, mineral, floral and clean air. So aromatic and focused while being exuberant. Palate is elegant and gorgeous. Brilliant clarity and apricot skin fruit and appealing bitter aspects. Straddles that sweet/bitter line so well. Such a serious and deep wine. Structured and compact. Finishes very mineral. Elegant, complex and salty. So good. Really really long. So energetic and elegant at the same time. Tasted 3 vintages and loved all three. Seems like it will be very versatile with a variety of dishes.

Super mineral. Super exuberant. Lovely nose. Seems a skoche less exuberant and more precise than the 16. Candied crystallized citrus and lovely florals. Incisive mineralIty. This has a complexity and completeness that is really great. An elite Italian white nose. A higher level than 2016. Juicy and deep, complex with terrific structure. Lovely pithy fruit. This is structured like nothing else. Think Puligny or great Smargd Gruner. Awesome finish. Stays with you. Minerals and freshness abound and it contorts your mouth in a good way. Finish is minutes long. Terrific and classy wine. Elegant. Have to pay $60+ in Burgundy for this. Not sure what this costs but $60 would shock me.

This is a crazy Riesling blend. Not sure all of them but it’s 5 grapes. It smells immediately like a wine that will fail on the palate if it does not have some major acids and minerals. It’s an exuberant and very fruity nose. The Gewurz is there and dominates like the loud person at a table of 5. Some mineral undertones and veggie florals if that makes sense. Palate is what I thought it would be. Loads of minerals and good acid to make it fresh. A very mineral wine that needs to be because of the exuberant nose. Nose gets more floral and interesting as it airs out. More nuanced. Some smoke and incense notes. Very interesting. Kind of like Italian Gemicher-Satz. A wine to reach for with a lot of food. Some piquant citrus and candied orange develop with air. Also the florals increase. It gains energy and sap. Really a fascinating first 10 minutes to this wine. Chameleon. Wonder where it settles.

Very complex and balanced. Now I know why this sits on so many Michelin starred wine lists.

Highly complex, with the bright petrol Riesling character out front, and fine integration of barrique Chardonnay and Sauvignon providing some nutty development, and pretty floral notes from the Gewurz.

Avevo voglia di un Riesling .. Ho dovuto scegliere questo blend che fatemelo dire troppo di tutto Riesling chardonnay gewurtz... Profumi e sapori contrastanti.. Troppo alcol . FRANZ HASSS ti conosco per altri vini .. Meglio i mono vitigni
