Smoky vanilla nose. Big cherry fruit with pepper. Would not have guessed sangiovese due to the ripe full flavor. Very good with rich red sauce ravioli.

A SuperTuscan, half Sangiovese, 30% Merlot, 20% Cabernet, this wine is a food-friendly fruit bomb, full of cherries, plums, and blueberries, and a touch of chocolate in the finish. Paired nicely with steamed artichokes, sautéed spinach with garlic, mushroom ravioli with pesto, and pugliese with Camembert.
