Really fun and interesting to watch this evolve over the course of the tasting, becoming increasingly savory and peaty. Floral notes and candied red fruit turning into dried fruit, plums, licorice and damp, mossy earth. This bottle was of terrific provenance and as a result had aged beautifully. Acidity is still very bright and lifts everything up wonderfully.

Not as good as the 2005 I had Las at week, but a nice effort , that is a tad heavy enjoy for the hat it is.

Wow needed a hour to open, but when it did Awesome Pinot West Block 2013!! Loaded with great black fruits, layers of intense Berry flavors. Strong candidate for my Pinot of the year. CB 98
