Run of the mill

Pale ruby color, good nose. Too tannic for me but overall an easy drinking red wine.

There’s a peaty chalk to this, so it works well as a neutralizer for smoky paprika or strong curry on beef.

Mild, slightly fruity with some oaky vanilla and a bit of chalk

Perfect for splitting the difference between a red meat and a hearty fish. Soft finish makes it happen.

Nothing special but blinded by the array it was poured next to. This was a perfectly acceptable Rasteau showing good complexity and typicity and lots of youth for 5 years old

Not annoying; not exciting either.

Enjoyable with beef bourguignon

Really quite dissapointing. Lifeless and flat. Non expressive palate with grippy tannins and short finish. Nose has some funky amaretto and cherry liquer going on with it. Bout as interesting as it gets
