Straw color with aromas of stone and tropical fruits. The palate shows peach, lemon with crisp apple and mineral notes. This medium-body wine has good balance with integrated acidity and finishes smooth, a touch nutty on the end. Very Nice!

Quite surprised by the deliciousness and development from a producer that doesn't often wow me. Goes well beyond the classic yet boring profile I was expecting and becomes a smoky, meaty, briney, herbal wonder. One of the best and most complete St. Joseph I've had in a long time.

First red wine at Table #2 at Oakton Wine Shops Bucket List Tasting.

Medium to deep ruby red. Super smoky on the nose and charred with matches, rocks and graphite. A bit of olives and dark cherries too. Heavy tannins (7/10) and full bodied. Tons of rocks on the palate with cherries, layered with toast and olive tapenade. Very dry and super long finish. Built to age. Drink till 2030. (93+)

This was awesome! Like blackberries flowing over exposed granite with a touch of charcoal and dark chocolate. It seems to need more time but really opened up over an hour plus

The soul is fully intact but the body is a tad faded. Still a gorgeous wine for less than 40 bucks. Drinking well this holiday.
