This is the same wine from my last post.

Its been vaccum sealed in the fridge for 4 days, and then allowed to air for 1 hour.

Lo and behold, its improved. The barn yard funk has diminished ( not gone) but finally the dark berry taste is coming thru. Its also a bit smoother on the finish

I love how wine constantly changes.

Perfect garnet color, but nothing else impressed me.

This wine has this barn yard funk going on. The taste of straw, earth, barn wood and saddle leather.

Its simply not what I enjoy in a Pinot Noir.

I've had better for less money.

Product of New Zealand.

Light ruby hue. Aromas of cherry and cranberry. Medium body, with medium-plus acidity and medium-minus tannins. Balanced and easygoing.

Opened a 2018 vintage January 2021. This remains a part of my wines to keep in stock. The cost is very reasonable and the quality much better than average. The taste is smooth, light and flavorful with black cherry and touch of coffee or chocolate. Goes well with steak cooked medium rare.

Vino de capa baja y cuerpo ligero, franco con aromas de fresa fresca, cereza, tenue caramelo y menta. De permanencia media baja, acidez media y astringencia baja. Franco en boca por dominar la acidez, carácter frutal y fresco.
