Earthy black and red fruit. I love the blueberry and the mint/menthol finish is a nice surprise.

A nice big thick silky red, this wine has a bit too much caramel oak and residual sugar for my taste as a cocktail wine. It might do much better as a pairing with spicy Asian beef dishes.

Possan does an excellent job restraining the oak. The '09 has more acidity than the '10 and a number of years left in the cellar. Fine tannins and tasty red and black cherries, cedar, and red currants carry through to a medium-plus finish. Ready for strip steak!

This is a solid Napa Bordeaux-style blend. I like the judicious oak use. The wine has finely-grained tannins carrying dark fruits, a touch of mocha, and a dusting of wild flowers. This is a well balanced wine capable of another 5-6 years in the cellar. Look for this 2010 in some end of aisle bins.

Big fruity nose, but mild, silky sipper. Nice, but expensive

Full body but don't drink right away..let it breath for at least 40 mins to an hour then it will open up nicely. Very good wine for the price
