This languished on my wine rack for years. Turns out to be a very good pour. At 12 years old, it leads with umami and mushrooms. Molé and and Andes mints. Great balance, restrained. Not too hot at 13.5% ABV. Relatively food friendly.

Blind tasted this as a right bank Bordeaux (or outside shot at a S. American Cab Franc). Abundantly earthy with very little fruit to balance it. If Merlot is one of your go-to's I would say skip this one.
