very dark and intense. Brooding. Dark violet and a gnarly underbrush. Violet and sage. Deep fruit, tang and intensity. Really good stuff.

This is a very special bottle for me. It was on my wishlist for years now, and here we are.

Dark ruby in color with a wide cloudy reddish/ brick rim.

Dry on the palate with great complexity and mouthfeel. Easy drinking and smooth.

Showing red currants, cherries, strawberries, light earth, tobacco leaf, herbs, black pepper and dark chocolates.

Long finish with fine grained tannins.

Elegant and fruit forward. Rich, and not showing its age at all.

Needed a few hours to open up properly, but good right out of the bottle too.

This 22 year old Pinot Noir from Côte D'or feels very young, and will continue to age nicely in the next 20 years and beyond.

Only 12,352 bottles were produced. This is bottle number 633.

Wayyyy too young but the 17s are gorgeous.

Amazing to try this. Not the best DRC by any means, but likely one of the better 1994 reds.

A convergence of elegance and bruising bitch slap. Still very youthful and in need of some development but I just love RSV, ready or not

Layers of dark fruit and black tea with strong base of complex tannins leading to a deep complex finish.

A little shifty aromatically did clam down with air gobs of sweet generous fruit on the palate very lush and liquor like.

I was amazed they have all these burgundy selections available by the glass!
