Pale straw in color. Grapefruit rind, pear, bread, and lime zest, and wet slate on the nose. Apple, pear, and lime on the palate. Nice bright acidity and dry with a creamy mouthfeel from fine effervescence. The short finish starts as honey before a mineral note joins before everything fades.

Melon hits the nose first, really interestingly. Smells lightly sweet, and the color is a pale, almost pastel yellow. Taste is crisp and yet mellow, like vanilla or syrup. I really like this one!!

Not much of a fan of too many sparklings but Freixenet has a great one that is not too sweet and easy to enjoy more than just one glass.
