Dark blood red in color. A big fruity nose of blackberry, raspberry and cherry. Fruit forward in the palate with more blackberry and dark cherry. The finish is clean with chewy tannins and moderate acid. I’m not detecting much of the pencil lead that normally clues me to a Malbec, but this is a young and brash wine that should mellow over time. Decanting at this age is a must. Excellent value at the teen price point.

Light taste, kind of watery mouth-feel. Good for a long eve or w a string cheese but OK on its own.
