Sawyer Lindquist Vineyard Sonnie's Syrah

Balanced, bright, and deep. Pine, black fruits, ash, balsam, and smokey meat. Has a very plush fruit character and soft tannin that are delicious now. With age more earth/mineral should show. Loving how all these showed balanced acidity across the board

Savory gamey white pepper and blackberry, gorgeous minerality and green herbs in the finish.

Great stuff. Meaty, spice, pepper, smoke, incense, blackberry, earth and minerals on the nose. Carmel cherry, spice, licorice, chalk, jam, gamey notes, medium tannin and herbs on the palate. Need to get another one and sit on it for 5-10. 13.5% ABV, nice.

The whole cluster component of this is great. Dusty earth and woodsy spice. Very nicely balanced.

Drinking nice, but will develop with a bit of age

Good juice. Taken for old world in blind tasting. Terroir, restraint and finesse. A burrito of wild, just underripe cherries, cranberries, raspberries and eucalyptus.

So sad...the air got to enjoy it before I did

Rhône style, very bacon cherry and earthy. Really ripping

Lovely, subtle syrah. Not what I expected from California. Closer to Rhone syrah.
