Vino Sbagliato Sforzato di Valtellina Nebbiolo

Now this is an unusual wine. It is made in the Amarone style but with Nebbiolo. The district Nebbiolo qualities are present: rose, tar, red fruits, but supercharged with more richness than would every be typical old a Barolo. Although fairly weighty, it wasn't over the top such that the texture was like soft velvet, with caressing tannins. Over time it opened up to reveal beautiful layers through the finish. Certainly unlike anything I've tasted before.

This would give great joy to people in a couple of years. The concentration and length is outstanding.

2011 vintage
Пьяная вишня, сочная слива, кола, тертая листва, ментол, оливки, дым, топленое молоко. Среднее тело с прочной структурой, ароматика естественна, полна, при этом не перегружена и не перезавялена. Хороший баланс сахара и кислотности. Интересно, не слишком комплексно, но с хорошей глубиной, честно и небанально.

Летучка из ванной пены, табак, легкий рассол, сливочная помадка, лавр, слива, неспелая черешня, известь. Ментольно и жарко одновременно. Очень тонко для сфурсата.
