Rosé pink in appearance. A bit sour cherry and raspberries on the nose with some funkiness and tart strawberries. Solid acidity on the palate and very refreshing. A bit of white pepper, tart and bitter strawberries and yeasty. Medium plus finish. Doing well for five years in bottle.

Pre ABInBev, and worth the spot in the cellar. From the beginning, my favorite vintage of this, and it's in a great place now. Fruit and sour are fully integrated, funk is just enough to round out the brisk acidity. Not sure this is going to get better, but no hurry, either. Current editions don't seem to live up to the '11.

Thanksgiving 2015 - a bratty, perfumed youth who speaks more loudly than anyone at the table; her sourness is simultaneously irritating and interesting; I am entertained by her subject-shifting banter but thankful when she leaves.

Really solid effort. Bright sourness, winey tannins, and expressive dry straw quality balanced with just a touch of fruitiness.

From before the ABInBev buyout. Hitting its stride and in amazing balance right now.
