Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel

Nice wine from our friends at Preston. Seemed very ripe, very dark flavors, slightly oxidized

It attacked my mouth

Tasted blind: Super acidity. Surprised it was zin.

I like Zin, but this would have been better 2 years ago.

Love this wine, but I'd recommending chilling a bit. 14.2 abv, but, when cooler, floral with massive amounts of black raspberry. Bringing the temp down suppresses some of that heat. Reminds me of a clean Americanized Châteauneuf-du-Pape. DCV fruit is killer, especially Zinfandel.

I like Preston. I like the big fruit but it seems to be lacking structure.

Above decent -not great.
Good quaffing wine.
