Silky smooth, finely balanced, with subtle tannins and very long finish. Delicious! The right wine to celebrate the Super Bowl and the Rams. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ๐Ÿ˜Ž

The Estate Micho is a wonderful BDX blend - 67% Merlot and 33% Cab. Beautiful nose, powerful fruit, subtle tannins. Delicious.

A very impressive nose that immediately takes me to Bordeaux but on the palate itโ€™s unmistakably Paso Robles with lush, dense red and dark fruits. Itโ€™s a massive tobacco and green pepper bomb with some purple flowers and earth notes. A dense wine endowed with a good frame. I liked this a lot more than I thought I would.

Outstanding Bordeaux style blend. Smooth, complex layers of fruit, balance. Absolutely delicious.

So good! Let it breathe a bit extra time and the flavors open up.

Soft and structured. Excellent tannic structure. A Cabernet-lovers right bank blend. Enjoyable vanilla notes from the oak. This will last many years in your cellar if you can resist opening the bottle!

These Daou wines are monsters, so I didn't have much patience on this '13 though time will serve it well. Strong but not overpowering notes of blackberry, cola, oak and a hint of smoke and lavender. A beautiful complex and layered nose. Smooth mouthfeel, creamy upfront and then a good bite emerges from these youthful tannins. Nice lingering finish that leaves your mouth nice and chalky. Will come back to this wine in 2-3 years with high expectations.
