This is large and in charge. Big, oaky Cali chard. Big aromatics of sweet lemon cream, hazelnut, vanilla and cotton candy. If you enjoy higher acidity or steely driven chards, stay away, but if you are looking for a big and well crafted Cali chard, this is it.

13' Pahlmeyer Chardonnay. Sourced from their Atlas Peak Vineyards . Honeydew, hazelnut, nicely integrated oak ,apple pie, light acidity(after an hour). A creamy and spicy finish that lingers for a bit . Drinking nicely as a pop & pour. Serve at slightly warmer then cellar temperature. Drink. Edit- IMO better at room temperature.

Definitely in the big bomb style. High alcohol and lots of oak but there is plenty of fruit to balance it out. Prototypical Napa Chardonnay. Very good as always.
